Privacy Policy

RepReview is a training app for lifters and their coaches. This explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get rid of it. Plain English, because you should be able to read it.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address and a password (stored only as a scrambled hash we can't read). Optionally a username, bodyweight and weight-class category, if you enter them.
• Your training: workouts, sets, reps, weights, effort ratings, rest times, personal records and check-in answers, plus the sign-up questions about your goal, sport, experience and training days.
• Videos of your sets, when you choose to film one, with the body-position data and measurements worked out from them.
• Messages between you and your coach in the app.
• Teams you've joined and your role in them.
• Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as app version and error reports.
• On this website: only what you type into the early-access form — email, whether you're a coach or an athlete, and optionally your sport.

What we don't collect

No contacts, no location, no health-app data, no advertising identifiers, no tracking pixels, no analytics on this website. We don't buy data about you and we never sell yours. The website makes no third-party requests at all: fonts and code are served from our own domain.

Who can see it

• You, always.
• Your coach, if you join their team or roster: your training, filmed sets, check-ins and your messages with them. They can't see other coaches' athletes.
• Teammates see your name and, only if you switch it on, your lifts on the team leaderboard. Leaderboards are off by default.
• Service providers that store or process data for us, listed below.
• Legal: only if the law genuinely requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Who we use to run it

• Supabase — database, sign-in and video storage (servers in the United States).
• Cloudflare — this website's hosting, DNS and email forwarding.
• Apple — the App Store, and TestFlight during the beta.
• Stripe — payments, once paid plans start. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.
• An email provider for account emails such as confirmations.

That's the whole list. If we add anything that touches your data, this page changes first.

Videos

A video is only recorded when you tap record in the app. It's kept so you and your coach can review it. You can save it to your phone, and you can ask us to delete any or all of them. The analysis of your lift happens on your phone, not on our servers.

Age

You must be 13 or older to use RepReview. If you're under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission, and if you're on a school team, your coach or school should hold that permission. We don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it. A parent or guardian can email us to see or delete their child's data, and we'll verify who they are before acting.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my data". We'll confirm it's you, delete your account, training history, messages and videos within 30 days, and tell you when it's done. You can also ask for a copy of everything we hold first. The only things we keep are records we're legally required to (for example a payment record for tax), and nothing we keep is used for anything else.

Emails

Account emails — confirmations, password resets — are part of the service. Anything else, including beta invitations and product news, has an unsubscribe link in it, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Joining the early-access list only ever gets you emails about RepReview.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. See the cookie policy. The app stores your session on your own device so you stay signed in.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our provider, and access is limited by database rules that keep each person's training to themselves and their coach. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to see, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, and to complain to a regulator. Email us and we'll honour them, free, within 30 days.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app or by email before it takes effect.
